Spring has finally sprung in Boston and I’ll be the first to admit that I shed a few happy tears when I saw the first 10-day forecast that had 70+ degrees across the board. IT’S SPRING I’LL CRY IF I WANT TO. If you’ve never been to Boston in the spring, I recommend planning a trip during mid to late April or early May. It is amazeballs. More specifically, the magnolia trees are amazeballs. Obvi I had to take some outfit photos during the short lifespan of these beauties. #betcheslovemagnolias
Light layering is my go-to for spring weather. I was an early adopter of the kimono-style cardigan, mostly for its breezy silhouette, but also because of its functionality. I tend to go for kimono cardigans with a longer hemline and a lightweight fabric so that it can double as a scarf, too. I like floral prints (groundbreaking!) but I’ve also been loving kimonos with fun pom-pom trim or tassel fringe. They’re perfect as a beach cover-up or the final touch to your festival outfit!
