Happy Tuesday! It’s the second installment of this season’s Style Scenario. Today it’s all about most Instagram-worthy fall activity: apple picking! Last week, I was up in Maine for a work retreat and we spent one afternoon at Snell Family Farm aka the most adorable little farm that I could not stop photographing. (For those of you who may not know, I work at Her Campus Media and head up their blogger network.) I had never gone apple picking before, so it was the perfect opportunity to hang out with my coworkers outside of the office and snag the main ingredient for my favorite kind of pie.
It was a bit chilly while we were in Maine, but booties with a dress were still doable. Speaking of dresses, this week’s sponsor My Kind of Lovely named the dress I’m wearing after me! How freaking cool is that? I’m basically #famous. I absolutely love the print and the cutout collar adds a extra bit of interest. The sleeves also have some ruching right below the shoulder which was a surprise when I first put the dress on, but it’s actually really comfortable. Given the fact that we were going to an apple farm, I decided to throw on a neutral sleeveless vest to give the look a bit more of a casual vibe.
What do you think of my outfit? Don’t forget to check out the other ladies’ apple picking looks! I’ll see you next Tuesday for a new Style Scenario.
